Insurance Pays

Click below to see what your car insurance has to say about your windshield repair.

How would you like to have your windshield repaired at no cost? Most car owners have comprehensive coverage on their vehicle. If you decide to go with windshield repair instead of replacement, your insurance company may waive any deductible amount and pay for the entire cost of the repair.

We have working relationships with most of the major insurance companies.

Why would my insurance company pay 100% of the repair?

It saves them money, windshield replacement can be quite expensive and paying for a few repairs is much less expensive and does not sacrifice the original factory seal from the auto manufacturer.

Know your Rights

Common Insurance Questions

Most insurance companies prefer chip repair, but a few are known to aggressively steer their clients to their own affiliated automotive glass replacement shops. The client then has to pay the deductible out-of-pocket.

Don't let this happen to you! When contacting your insurance company, know your rights. Under state and federal laws, you have the right to select your own service provider.

Q. I have a $250 deductible on my comprehensive insurance plan, so do I have to pay for the repair myself?

A. In most cases, absolutely NOT! Most insurance companies would much rather pay for a repair than to have to pay for an entire windshield replacement, so your entire deductible
will be waived for the repair.

Q. Do I have to pay now and wait to be reimbursed by the insurance company?

A. No, we will handle all of the insurance billing for you and there will be no out-of-pocket expenses for you, now or in the future.

Q. Will my insurance premiums go up after making a rock chip or crack claim with my insurance?

A. No, your insurance premiums should not change at all. Again, insurance companies would rather pay to repair a windshield than to pay for an entire windshield replacement, so even though a claim will be put on file with your insurance company, it is more from an informational perspective, in order to protect themselves against the filing of multiple claims for the same job(s) and preventing insurance fraud. The insurance companies prefer to pay for this “preventative” type care because it’s much cheaper for them to pay for a small repair rather than waiting for the damage to spread across the entire windshield and pay for a complete windshield replacement.
