FAQ’S:

Q: Why does this work at car care facilities.
     A: Customers at your facility are there to maintain their vehicle, and we can gladly help
     with that.

Q: Will you hold up my line?
     A: No. The repair process is actually quite fast and rarely takes more than a few minutes.      We perform the repair the same time your crew is servicing the vehicle.

Q: Do your guys hard sell? What approach do you use to offer your service to     clientele?
     A: United Group Windshield Repair has mastered the art of the “soft sell.” Our service
     sells itself and requires no “hard sell.” After all, what’s easier to sell than “FREE”?

Q: Why aren’t other car care facilities doing this?
     A: Actually, they are. The number of facilities incorporating windshield repair in the last
     few years is astounding. In some areas of the country like Texas, it is rare to find a car
     wash for example, without windshield repair.

Q: What are the benefits of offering this service?
     A: The short list of benefits includes additional profits for your company, providing a fast      and convenient free service to your clients thus increasing loyalty and repeat business,
     helping keep customers safe by retaining their original factory installed auto glass, helping      save our environment and landfills, and saving insurance companies money thus keeping      rates low.

Q: Do you have a list of car care facility owners I can call?
     A: No. We value the time of our partners and feel that our service sells itself. Most car care      facility owners are extremely busy and prefer us not to give out their private information.      However, a quick search on the internet may be of help to you.


Q: Is windshield repair new?
     A: No. Since 1972 it has grown widely especially with the safety concerns about replacing      windshields, their new doctrine to repair first before replacing, the insurance companies      trying to cut expenses, and the huge environmental awareness of our times.

Q: Do you replace windshields?
     A:No. We are proud to be a repair only company.

Q: What do you do to repair a windshield?
     A: Special tools, UV curable structural polymer resins and technical expertise are used to      restore the windshield to factory specifications, normally within just a few minutes.

Q: Where will you do the repairs?
     A: Normally, repairs are performed in the service line while your team performs their duties.      We do not enter or drive any customer vehicle.

Q: Is the repair really free or no cost?
     A:With full coverage, Yes.

Q: Will customer’s insurance rates increase?
     A: No. A windshield repair in and of itself will not increase a customer’s rate, and their      deductible is normally waived.

Q: Why do insurance companies waive deductibles?
     A: It saves the insurance industry millions of dollars annually, and is preferred over      replacement for safety reasons.

Q: How much does the insurance company pay you, and how much does it cost if a      customer pays cash?
     A:Normally, around fifty dollars.


Q: Will you upset my customers?
     A: No. Customer satisfaction is our highest priority. We consider ourselves guests at your      facility. However, like any business, there are some people that we just can not satisfy which      is why our management is always available to contact any unhappy customer immediately.

Q: What do I do if I have a customer complaint?
     A: For a more personal touch, simply refer them to us through our toll-free number, or they      may find the FAQ section on the back of their invoice and on the “Windshield Repair “      section of our website helpful.

Q: Is there a guarantee??
     A: Yes. We guarantee for the life of the vehicle that our repair will not spread.

Q: What will happen if you break a windshield?
     A: While this rarely happens, it is glass we are repairing. If the customer has a full coverage      policy in place, their insurance company will simply line them up with a new windshield.


Q: How much will I get paid?
     A: We pay monthly via a corporate paper check or direct deposit. You earn $10 per repair.

Q: How do I keep up with the repairs you are doing at my facility?
     A: An easy to read daily log will be given to you at day’s end detailing all work performed.      This is the same log in which our technician’s pay is based on, so you can be assured of      accuracy. A monthly log will be provided to you as well.

Q: What happens if the insurance company doesn’t pay you?
     A: While this is definitely not a normal situation, we do make every effort to verify a client’s      coverage and collect our service fee. There are times however, due to insurance policy
     laps dates for example, where we can not. We also may, at our mutual discretion, help a      client for no-charge and consider this a good will cost of doing business. This is sometimes      done for large accounts that you may have such as for the police department or a limousine      service. You will be informed of such and are only paid on invoices that our fee has been      collected.

Q: Is there much paperwork?
     A: No. After the initial installation of our service, only a daily and monthly log will be needed,      and there is no action on your part required.


Q: Are you technicians trained?
     A: Yes. Our technicians complete extensive hands-on training using only the highest quality      materials. Our repairs meet or exceed military repair guidelines used on planes, helicopters      and vehicles. Some of our technicians have over fifteen years in the business.

Q: What will your technicians wear?
     A: Our technicians will dress in solid colored polo style shirts and normally a protective      server style apron with our logo.

Q: What kind of person will you place at my facility?
     A: We do our best to find the right person for your facility. Care is taken to find someone      who will fit in with your crew. Our technician will be respectful and courteous at all times.
     If not, a replacement will be found.


Q: What are your fees and are they negotiable? How much does it cost to get      started?
     A: Your company will never incur a charge or fee from United.

Q: Is there a contract?
     A: Normally, yes. After our demonstration and evaluation period, we do have a mutually      agreeable contract outlining what we will do for you. Our handshake normally suffices but      we want you to rest assured of our intentions to serve you well.

Q: What should I do to get started or to learn more?
     A: Simply give us a call. It would be our pleasure to speak with you about your company and      how we may be of service.

Q: When can you start?
     A: We are normally quite responsive. However, the number of your locations and staffing      requirements dictate our timeline.

Q: If I refer you to another car care facility owner is there a referral fee?
     A: Yes. When a busy owner does this for us, we can assure you, that we show our      appreciation.
